These skills will not only come into practical use for ourselves when we’re ready to be looped in with a professional, but for others in our life, so we can share our knowledge and make that process of connecting with further support a little less daunting by guiding them in the right direction.
Finding the right fit when seeking professional support can be tricky, which is why it's worth knowing a variety of options, like we’ve just done!
We’ll hear what the process of finding the right professional support was like for Max. It’s important to remember we might not click with someone straight off the bat and that it’s okay to keep looking, just as you would when dating or making a new friend.
